DUE DILIGENCE AND HISTORICAL RESEARCH
Beverage Bottling Plant Siting
This project involved the development of a key characteristics matrix and an iterative ranking system of municipal water supply systems for siting a new bottling plant. This work included the
development and refinement of a database consisting of over 250 Central-Indiana locations. Numerous presentations of the findings allowed our client to understand the water resource quality,
quantity, and monetary considerations for each of the specified locations.
Historical Wellfield Use and Hydraulic Conditions Research
This project was aimed at characterizing the historical conditions surrounding a municipal wellfield located in north-central Indiana. This work involved in-depth historical research including
IndianaState and local government archives to assess the historical hydraulic conditions at a municipal wellfield in north-central Indiana.
Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Research
Graduate research focused on the integration and development of a GIS based geological database for a local research park. More recent projects have been conducted to identify regional water resource
conditions throughout the Midwest. These “GIS integration” studies involve the manipulation of various readily available GIS databases to develop a screening system for isolating particular
hydrogeologic environments. This method of defining water resources through
GIS has been innovative and ongoing in its development.
Water Resource Assessments
These projects have involved initial remote and field assessments of natural water resources for use as water production facilities. This work included correspondence with the owners, operators, and
regulators, and both remote as well as field assessment of potential water resources at various locations throughout the Midwest.
Environmental Audit Assessments
These projects have involved numerous environmental audits for a variety of multi-tenant business parks. This work was conducted as a due diligence effort and included reporting and recommendations
for property owners.
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
These projects have involved ASTM Standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments at various properties including multi‑tenant business parks around the United States. These assessments varied
from franchise business transactions ranging from 1,000‑acre ranch lands to manufacturing and industrial properties.
